Sono attratta dalle cose semplici e autentiche, dalle persone sensibili, coraggiose e libere!
Nel tempo ho imparato a riconnettermi con il mio mondo interiore, liberarmi dal superfluo, dagli standard imposti e vivere ascoltando la mia voce.
Ho imparato a trasformare la mia sensibilità da limite in opportunità!

For many years I have pursued the dream of becoming a researcher working on renewable energy. So I took a PhD in Materials Physics and Nanotechnology and studied some innovative technologies to obtain cheaper and more efficient photovoltaic panels. I worked in France in one of the best European research centers and collaborated with leading companies in this field. I presented my work in dozens of International Congresses and Conferences and I won a prestigious award as a young Researcher.
Mentre facevo tutto questo però, Crescevo, Cambiavo, Ascoltavo, Leggevo libri, e soprattutto Viaggiavo, Sempre!
Il venerdì sera uscendo dall'ufficio mi trasformavo, mettevo vestiti e scarpe comode, prendevo il mio zaino, indossavo un mega sorriso e salivo su un volo, su un treno, su un auto, qualsiasi mezzo di trasporto che mi portasse lontano, per poi tornare il lunedì mattina, spesso direttamente in ufficio.
Viaggiavo sempre, con il corpo, con il cuore e con la mente!
Viaggiavo non solo per spostarmi, ma più per cercarmi, per trovarmi!
Viaggiavo per capirmi! Spesso mi perdevo in lunghe conversazioni con persone incontrate lungo la strada, persone nate in altre latitudini, in altri mondi, con altri sogni..
Poi un giorno, mentre sorridevo andando in aeroporto con il cuore e lo zaino stracolmi di vita, ho capito qualcosa.. Ho capito che tutto quello studio, tutta quella scuola, tutto quell'impegno in realtà erano stati vuoti, non erano riusciti ad aprirmi gli occhi sul mondo, non erano riusciti ad insegnarmi così tanto su di me e sulla vita, non erano riusciti a scuotermi dentro tanto quanto avevano fatto quei viaggi!
I viaggi mi mostravano una visione nuova, una prospettiva inusuale, mi invitavano a riflettere e mettere in discussione me stessa, le mie credenze, le mie certezze, il mio mondo!
Questa sensazione la amavo, mettere costantemente in discussione le mie credenze mi faceva sentire viva, in movimento!
E così mi sono chiesta..
What's the point, if I've always lived in one place,
if I have always listened to only one story,
What if this place doesn't actually teach me something profound about what's out there?
What's the point of spending my life dreaming of improving the world, if I know practically nothing about what the world is?
How is it possible that people who are apparently less fortunate than me can smile with their soul and with their eyes, while I am always frustrated and dissatisfied?
So I decided that my new life mission would be to find an answer to these questions, or a thousand different answers.. it didn't matter.. but I had to find something!
So I made my decision:
I'm done with my academic career!
I made it known that I would not accept the new job offer, that I would not continue in that place, because that job no longer represented me, because my place was somewhere else!
It made no sense to continue dedicating my life investing my energies in a world that suddenly seemed fake, closed, too small, dull and barricaded to be able to give real answers, it made no sense to continue dedicating myself to something I no longer believed in.
I had done it, I had been happy to do it, but now it was time to go and find my answers!
This is how the project was born
Footprint - Conscious Travels
The goal is to go around the world and show how traveling can really save our lives from the materialism that surrounds us, it can really be a very powerful opportunity to undertake a much more important Journey, the Inner one!
Show the Beauty of leaving, free, light, without plans, without tourist packages, for the sole desire to explore... and then find yourself exploring the world inside yourself and discover that there is much more than we could ever have imagined!
